About Me

Hi...I'm Jessica and I'm a stay at home mother of two boys. My husband and I met in highschool and we've been together ever since. Even so we did have our ups and downs, we went through a lot of drama...but we were young. We had a rocky past, we were off and on several times in our relationship. Sometimes I feel thankful for the past we had because we saw what else was out there and still after all of that we found each other again...I think we knew that we were meant to be after all. We are now married and have been for five years now. Ruben has really exceeded my expectations of what I thought he would be as a father and husband...I'm really proud of the man he has become. We have recently moved from Palm Desert to the La Quinta Cove. We enjoy life out here in the desert...yes, the summers are really hot but the rest of the year is just "perfect". We've been in La Quinta for only a year now but will soon be moving back to Palm Desert since we are purchasing a brand new house (were just waiting for it to be built)which we are super excited about. We love everything the desert has to offer...including all the great resturants and shopping. We love spending time with our kids but we also are thankful when the grandparents have them over for the night...since we love to entertain and get together with friends. I love to decorate, throw parties, scrap~book, and take pictures...its all about "making memories".

Music:

I pretty much like all types of music...sometimes I'm in the mood for some rap and other times I wanna get down and sing along to my favorite 80's jams. I do have to say the 80's had the best music. If it has a good beat...most likely I'll like the song.

Movies:

Hmmmm....mostly like comedies and romantic movies. Hate horror movies, can't stand getting scared and nervous...don't like my heart to pound. But I do like mobster/gangsta movies (pulp fiction, casino, true romance...just to name a few). I like Wedding Crashers, Office Space, Dumb and Dumber (all those kinds of movies too) My Girl, Cruel Intentions, Pointbreak, Clueless, and one of my Old Time Favorites is "Dirty Dancing"...I can watch that over and over...and act out the parts.

My favorite Christmas movie is "Christmas Vacation" and it's a tradition to watch it at least once at Christmas time. Hmmm...another favorite movie of mine is...planes, trains, and automobiles (With Steve Martin and John Candy). Ooh and I practically like any movie starring Johnny Depp. True Romance is another one of my favorites. ~True Romance~

Television:

Hate to say it...but I love all the reality shows. I'm big on watching mtv shows like...real world, The Hills, Date my mom, I love New York, pretty much like them all, ha. I like American Idiol, King of Queens (great show), Yes Dear, etc. I also like Oprah...he he (wouldn't it be nice to get on her "favorite things" show she does once a year)...that would be SWEET!
