Got my own hair (grey but still growing), teeth (braces back on) and personality.I know what I like although am always open to persuasion.Making other people laugh makes me laugh and I (hardly) ever tell jokes....just funny stories that even I have (sometimes) never heard before!I love music, mostly live stuff. As I get older I am pigeon-holing myself into acoustic stuff that makes most people sad but uplifts me. I am still waiting to be discovered but for what I have yet to phathom.I am more than adequate at everything (except cooking, which I hate) and exceptional at very little other than being me. I am not however your Average Joe by any stretch of the imagination. I now know my limitations but tire of people who don't know theirs.We are ALL special. I think it is about time that people realised how special life is and enjoy it more rather than taking it all too seriously. If they were ever put in the position of people with physical or mental disabilities or the people who had to care for them full time, then they may realise what is important in life.I am still a romantic and my favourite word is and always has beenL O V EMy favourite place is a pub in Ireland with a pint of Guinness in my hand. I consdier Limerick to be my second home and feel as at home there as I do in my own hometown. You should visit, it's a hidden gem!I'm into most sports (except Basketball and Ice Hockey) and I know one of my faults is that I am becoming one dimensional when footie or golf is on the gogglebox. I must be more considerate in this aspect. This shows that my neverending improvement programme manual still has a few pages before being completed.I have a soapbox and (if you tune in again) I might stand on it occassionally and pontificate merrily.Don Mescall
