We miss Daddy...

About Me

We live in the deep south, or dirty south depending on what kind of mood you're in. But if you've never been to the southern most part of Mississippi you've missed something. I don't know where we'll end up in this life, but I do know that Mississippi will always have a piece of my soul. The food ahhh the food. There is nothing like gumbo, crawfish boils, crab claws, and po' boys. Being a mother is the hardest and most rewarding job in the entire world, and I know that every mother says that but it's so true. Basically we live our lives to be happy, and I think we've found ourselves in eachother which allows us to do what we want to be happy about 99.98 percent of the time. If there's one thing I've learned it's that the "things" you have can be gone tomorrow, and although we all know that somewhere in our heads, it really makes sense to me now. I know why we have such great memories...it's because pictures, things, and people we love can dissapear in an instant and we rely on our memories to keep us smiling. I know that if I became blind tomorrow, I would always be able to smile. I just want to be a good person like every one else...and I hope I can achieve that.

My Interests

I like being outdoors, but I like sitting my ass on the coutch every once in a while too. We often go for "drives" but not as often as we used to. I like to feel my blood pumping, and I also like to be calm. I've started back at the gym(have'nt been sence I was pregnant!) and I'm loving it. I have a new goal I'm working on which is strange I don't usually set goals, I know myself too well to think that I could ever follow through. We try to be good "American's" standing up for what we believe in, and not getting caught up on the hooplah of politics. Our passion is MOPARS. Building a super sweet hot rod is amazing fun and amazingly expensive, but hell it's just money.Cuda is still a work in progress slatted to be done after deployment; these things take time people! If you're gonna do something do it right!

I'd like to meet:

Now that I have John and Emma, that's a hard question...

Music:

I've been stuck listening to talk radio and neglecting music. However, I love Jack Johnson he's the best. And this song by hellogoodbye makes me think of John and then I cry.
Extended Network Banners

Movies:

Anything Quintin has done, anything Will Ferrel is in, and Guy's movies are great too. John Wayne movies are always nice to watch. Steve McQueen movies end up in the DVD player alot. I'll watch any movie and give it a chance.

Television:

T.V. is like sugar. They are both super sweet but bad for your health.

Books:

I miss reading...unfortunatly the only books I've read reciently are baby books, books about babies and books you read to babies. But my favorite book is Night. I hope to get a copy of Bill O'Riley's "Culture Warrior" and actually read it soon.

Heroes:

Well there are so many people in my life that have shown extraordinary love, kindness, and strength. I would'nt want to leave anyone out. And if you look hard you'll find people every day that perform heroic acts.
