Personally: Back in 1991 shortly after High School Graduation I began dating fellow Eastern High School Class of 1990 alumnist Lisa Spencer. In 1998 just the two of us flew off together to the island of St Lucia where we were married. We lived in my hometown of Berlin NJ till 2005 when we moved to Clarksboro NJ. In 2003 we were blessed with our first child, a beautiful and funny Daughter named Katherine Doreen. In Feb 2007 we were blessed with our second child, a boy named Tyler David.
Professionally: After graduating High School I attended The Hussian School of art in Philadelphia for four years where I studied Illustration and Graphic Design. After graduating with Honors in 1994, I worked for two years at a small local design firm before taking a job as a designer with Tyco Toys in Mt. Laurel, NJ. Shortly after I began working there the company was bought out by Mattel Toys. I worked for the two companies for a combined 8.5 years before it was decided to close our facility and move the remainder of the Tyco brands out to California back in 2004. At that point I began working for myself running my own company named "The Drawing Board Art Studio" Here is a link to my web site: www.dbastudio.com
I have been very fortunate to be able to make a living at doing what I love to do which simply put is being creative. I am versatile enough that I get to do a variety of work. I have been able to design toys, design movie posters, create original characters and more on a daily basis for a wide variety of companies and people all while staying very close to my family.
Here are a couple of my favorite clips from "Generation X Live!" This was a cable access show created by my brother Eric and starring myself along with some other friends back in the mid 1990's. Please check out our Generation X Live! space on MySpace via the link in my friends list below or visit our Generation X Live! channel on YouTube.
We figured no one else was going to put us on TV so we did it ourselves!
Enjoy!
