Since going to war, never have I seen or could have understood such compassions, brotherhood, horror, humility, sadness, and lust for life. What takes some a lifetime or more to learn, a Soldier will learn in a moment over there.So, moving on. I was born and raised on a cattle ranch in California. I have a wonderful daughter that constantly reminds me how innocent life was. A good night for me is watching a movie or reading a book. The Army and my kid usually get the rest of my time.
