About Me

Although born in London, I have lived in several countries over the years, including Gibraltar, IsraeL, America, Italy and Norway. I always enjoyed music as a child but only started performing when I took to the streets and underground stations of London. This was soon followed by performing everywhere I travelled to but only took a serious turn when I went to live in California, where I sang mainly in San Francisco and on the UC Berkeley campus. I became a fixture on the scene and appeared in the UC Berkeley yearbook without even having taken any classes there! After a number of years in America I moved to Florence, Italy and with my first cassette tape having been recorded, I started to make a good living both on the streets and in various bars and clubs. Eventually I moved to Oslo in Norway where life was more peaceful and the music scene quite vibrant. After a brief moment of fame on live Norwegian television, I decided to return to London after many years of being away. I sang for a while in Covent Garden but for the last few years have found my niche just next to the river Thames, either by the Tate Modern museum or on the other side of the millenium bridge across the river. Both locations are idyllic and it is at one or the other that you can find me most weekends...weather permitting. Even after all these years I can honestly say that I still enjoy performing on the street, either to a crowd of people on a nice day or to a few passers by in the heart of winter. It makes me whole as a musician and as a human being, to give what I can offer and to receive some appreciation in return...long may it continue! These are early recordings of some of the songs to be included on my upcoming all original album. The track listing for the new cd and bonus disc is as follows;BIG YELLOW TAXI / JONI MITCHELL....
