Martyn Scott

Martyn Scott began his musical career at the age of 11 with RED HOT DISCOS, a mobile disco which he ran alongside his father Ernie Scott.

At 17 Martyn decided to ditch the turntables and pick up the guitar, and began to write and record his own material. He has since composed 4 solo albums and an ep. He has also played solo performances at local jam nights, and joined local band Gregor and the Martians.

Martyn is now in the process of putting together a new solo act in order to promote the release of his fifth album. Sadly in 2004 Ernie passed away. Martyn felt he wanted to form this live act as his father gave him a lot of hope and encouragement, and he wishes to support and play alongside other great artists within the local live music scene.
