That we're musicians, that we play good shit and people dig it.
Something like that
That we're a band in our hearts... but that drummers are buggers.
Alas, it's true
That we're mostly reggae these days.. but we started out funk.
Aye we did...
That we don't think we're black and we don't smoke weed.
Get the kettle on..
That we don't give a fuck about hair.
Nor jeans,
No sir
Nor the rest of it
That what we really want is answers.
That we need some new recordings.
That Geno dug us
"You guys!"
That we don't get many groupies
...though we live in hope.
That we've a few good albums in us.
If we don't grow tired or lose the plot.
