Being the best mom, wife and person I can be. Video games, art, psychology, dream analysis, movies, books, history, sociology, writing, concocting various disgusting home remedies with the help of my herbology books and various weeds that grow in my yard.. actually, there really isn't much that isn't interesting to me.
The real me and Gerard Way
This Meez is soooo me cuz I should be cleaning up that messy kitchen but I'm playing video games instead! LMAO
My Chemical Romance and System of a Down are very strong faves. Before MCR basically took over my musical life my favorite CD of all time for years and years was Testament: Practice What You Preach. LOL - boy did I feel old the day I had to special order a replacement copy because it wasn't something they just kept in stock anymore!! Weird Al Yankovic, Disturbed, Metallica, Green Day, Linkin Park, Hoobastank, Tool, Cat Stevens, (early) Dolly Parton etc... I go from Megadeth to John Denver in the snap of a finger... it's all good. PINK!!! (Sing it Sista!)
LOOOVE movies - all movies, even bad ones sometimes. I'm especially into horror, though, and especially not particularly into the so-called "chick flicks."
One of my favorite movies of all time is a lesser known horror-comedy called "Blood Diner" fabulous stuff! There's just something about gross and silly at the same time that appeals to me.
I also list among my top faves (right now) 300, V for Vendetta, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Princess Bride, Lady in the Water, Signs, Labyrinth, The Ring, The Grudge, White Chicks, Phantom of the Opera, Evil Dead Trilogy, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Monsters Inc., Pirates of the Caribbean Trilogy, Hero...Just saw "Stranger Than Fiction" which absolutely caught me off guard. It was written and directed and acted just beautifully. I'm keeping my eye out for any more screen plays written by Zach Helm. Mostly, though, I have to give props to Will Ferrel cuz I usually just think of him as a talentless goofball. He really stepped up to the plate and impressed me in his role as Harold Crick.
If it's not on the History Channel or Cartoon Network - it's not on for me. (Except for Scrubs and My Name is Earl)
Favorite books of all time are To Kill a Mockingbird, Jane Eyre (because I totally can relate to the crazy lady in the attic - laughing but not joking) anything by Clive Barker, Dean Koontz or Stephen King. For series - I absolutely devoured Incarnations of Immortality by Piers Anthony. Eragon by Chris Paolini fascinates me and I just read Anansi Boys by Neil Gaiman (who also happens to be one of my favorite comic book writers - Sandman series in particular.)
An example of why Neil Gaiman is one of my favorite authors.
My children, Angelina Jolie and Gerard Way.
