Fractured Fairytales was created by Lutachrist Dupre. On Halloween of 2003 Fractured Fairytales first release was available or the masses, Turn of Flies was a four song video enhanced single. Late July 2006 Fractured Fairytales released its first full length record entitled Murmur. Soon after the release of Murmur Lutachrist brought in a much needed and appreciated aspect to the project, St. Sacrifice and his array of ungodly stringed instruments.Not long after hitting the local scene in Fayetteville NC Fractured Fairytales acquired their devil of low frequencies, Memnoch on bass. With the release of a full length record and doing shows with nationals acts Fractured Fairytales is a paranormal birth that will be around for a very long time. Perhaps for the rest of the duration of the human race, which will most likely be less than 100 years considering the circumstances.
Fractured Fairytales means finding the beauty in the horrid, and finding the horrid in beauty. Representing and backing anything real, unorthodox, dark, gothic, metal, non-emo, anti-hip hop suffocate the mainstream, boycotting MTV, save our culture from pure idiocy before its to late,and anti-christian for they are anti everything ideology.
