About Me

After an experience as percussionnist during 15 years alongside Fela Kuti and Femi Kuti or also King Sunny Ade upon stages round the world, Segun Damisa forms in 2001 his own band called "Alkebu-lan" in Abuja the new capital teritory of Nigeria.Segun Damisa has collaborated with some top America artists i.e D'Anjelo, Macy Gray, Roy Hargrove, Common, Erykah Badu, Nile Rodger, Ahmir(The Root) Mos Def, Dead Prez and many more in the album TRIBUTE TO FELA produce by RED HOT RIOTSince 2 years he lives in France and has formed the band "The Afrobeat Crusaders" to accompany him in his compositions.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

People with great minds and tought, people that have sympathy for mankind and nature. The true leaders i.e Martin L. king jnr, Malcom X, Sankara, I. Ghandi, Mandela to mention but few.
