About Me

Stayed at home most of 08. Went overseas and did a small run with Ratt and I did a run with a band called Tokio Hotel. New to the states, but more poular than I realized. Talented, great guys, good band and everyone surrounding them is cool as well. They are going to take America this year. I want to hold onto to this gig as long as I can. They got something working for them and I want to be a part of it.--------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------Played Rocklahoma in 07. That was the last time I saw Kevin Dubrow from Quiet Riot. (RIP bro- your back with Randy). It was alot of fun actually. The production value was garbage, but I saw a bunch of people I spent alot of time with and haven't seen since that tour ended. The 80's were alive and well, in Oklahoma that weekend. That being said----------- I am honest, straightforward, and believe what comes around goes around. My momma always told me to do unto others as you would have them do unto you. That philosophy has done me right.---------------------------------------- I moved to LA from Philly, I guess you could say a few years ago , 3 days after graduating high school. Thats when rock n roll got a hold of me and never let go. Its been good to me and paying my bills ever since. I started touring in years ago and have been fortunate enough to have been paid to travel the world, with many a rockstar, designing and operating the light shows they perform under.----------------------------------- I've been through 2 1/2 passports and every flying condition you can imagine- short of an actual crash, thank God. I really don't like flying. -I'll put it that way. If I have to, I'd prefer this way, a nice private jet! Always the preferred means of travel.---------I'm not a name dropper, but let's just say that I have probably been on the payroll of 1 or 10 bands in your CD collection. It was alot of fun, alot of sweat, some bullshit, but still one of the better gigs out there. Rockstars come in all varieties, let me tell you what, Some are great people and talents, and a few are absolutley miserable. I got sooo many stories, but no names. Most are still friends! (wait for the book!)------------------------------------------------------ ----- ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ - I have been most everywhere I ever wanted to go and have my job to thank for that. I still can't believe someone will pay you great, feed you, take you around the world and board you in nice hotels (usually), just for moving some lights around in time with the music.---- Really, it all comes down to the band liking my vision of their music, expressed through my lights. I have been hired, fired, quit and been retained by many. ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------ I've done some crazy shit over the years, anything from private planes to Iceland, to taking a sledgehammer to the Berlin wall, Running around Stonehenge, Been in some interesting situations with some rather famous people, who I thought I'd never meet, let alone share some great experiences and make some great memories with. Think "Entourage". I can totally relate to those guys. Don't have to be famous.... just .."in". I've taken a lap around one of the most famous racetracks in Europe (Imola,Italy)- in a confiscated catering golf cart, and the F1 track in Melbourne Australia, in a mini van!!!------------------------------------------------------ -------------------------------------------------------- I've taken some swings for the fence-from home plate- at the Toronto Blue Jays Stadium. Think I made it out of the infield on my best hit. It was soooo far away. I was out of breath by the time I ran to second base. ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ -------------Went to Drag Races this past summer with Stephen and the Ratt boys. Stephen had sponsored a Top Fuel dragster and we went down to a race for some promotion and fun. T.V. doesn't do it justice. You have to expierience it for yourself exactly how cool it is. You have to smell it, feel the power, see the speed. It's a rush. Especially standing at the Christmas tree at the starting line. ---------------- Johnny Carsons'set and desk, Corcovado in Rio De Janeiro. (that's a whole other story)Berlin Wall just after it fell. I still have the pieces I hammered off.My hotel room on Bondi Beach, Australia. What a great 2 weeks. Been there a few times now. I love itI've seen the Northern lights and been to the top of Teotihuacan pyriamids outside Mexico City. Trekked around the Roman ruins,------------------------------------------------------ ------------------Had my breath taken away in Rio- standing at the feet of Christ,----------------------------------------------------- -------------------------- Had one,(ok 2) drunken late nights of skinny dipping at Bondi Beach in Australia. I had an adventure, to say the least, in the Sherwood forest and I've eaten Blowfish in Tokyo.(numbed my whole mouth).----------------------------------------------------- ---------I have seen the Anne Frank hideout in Amsterdam,-------------------------------------------------- ------------------walked the black sand beaches of New Zealand and got totally lost, drinking red wine, looking for Jim Morrison's grave in the streets of Paris, at 3 in the morning. (never found it). ------------------------------------------------------------ --------------------------------- I've watched my tour bus burn to the ground from the side of a deserted highway, seen the space shuttle re enter the atmosphere at 4 in the morning, while driving near Roswell New Mexico. (That was a little weird), Definitley saw what I can only explain as Unidentified Flying Object, one night driving with my bro, Chad, at 4 in the morning, in Death Valley, It was HUGE and CLOSE! You couldn't miss it. It blocked out the moon. (bout 5 other vehicles stopped and watched with me...so, I wasn't the only whacko watching this thing! Dana Strum saw it as well. he can vouch for me!).------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------- I've extinguished a fully engulfed, burning stagehand with a Guiness Stout, at Alpine Valley and I've driven from Vegas to Studio City in LA, in just over 2 hrs and 55 mins. Did it cause I had to, it was 3 in the morning, and I wanted to see what my Mustang GT 5 speed could do. I doubt I'd try it again though... well, you never know- I had a blast! ------------------------------------------------------------ --------------------------------- This is just a brief look at the person I am and the events that shaped me. Any questions just ask, there's alot more where that came from. I'll tell you straight out- I'm very, very honest with my feelings. You will always know where I stand on a matter, that's for sure. I consider myself very fortunate to have expierienced, (and at times taken for granted), many things that others could only dream about. I've met some very wonderful in my travels, and cherish more than some might think. That's the truth------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------ ------ I don't tour much anymore. There is SO many more important things in life now. A quick summer tour here and there really helps the wallet quite a bit though. It still is a rush to call houselights and hear the roar of 20,000 people , knowing I will play a major part in the evening. A supporting role for the popstars, but a significant part nevertheless-------------------------- I now design and run lights for just about every concert at House of Blues in Vegas and a few other places as well. ------------------------------------------------------------ --------------------I bought a new house, and sold my old one. I was stressing, especially in this market, but I did it! Who would have thought us old road guys are now turning into real estate moguls! If you can deal with some stress, you'll love the cash you can make.------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------- Love my 2005 Mustang GT (all about the stick!) and If I ever need a laugh, I watch Americas Funniest Animals. It works every time (You just have to mute those annoying morons that host it). ------------------------------------------------------------ -------------------------------------I indulged in the rock n roll lifestyle and ALL of the fringe benefits that came along with it, at the beginning of my career. I've seen and done things many a person could only dream about. Really. No matter how cool it was, it still got old.-------------------------------------------------------- --------------------- Going through all that enabled me to find out who I am and what I want. I walk to the beat of a different drum, and feed off of the positve around me. Negativity is a cancer I try to run away from. >........................................................ .......................................................... Yeah I know, BLAH BLAH BLAH, get on with it asshole <........................................................ ........................................................... I got all of my bad habits out of my system, many years ago, and glad I did. With me...what you see is what you get. Vegas is full of fake people, that lack that one serious quality that's so hard to find.... being Genuine.(probably why I'm still single!) lol--------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------I'm just looking to have some fun and be Happy . Life is to short, and I find it goes by quicker the older I get! I love to laugh, even at myself and it's good for the soul. ------------------------------------------------------------ -------------------------------------------------Did I mention how much my dog means to me. That unconditonal love is great. I Don't believe I'll have any kids (you never know though) but my buddy boy fills that void just fine. Plus he's low maintenance. No college, or talking back. LOL. He just wants to play and steal my socks, He's the best.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I am looking to catch up with some old friends I've lost touch with and hopefully meet more new interesting people, since I really don't do "the club thing", I figured I would give this a shot. Sometimes, being surrounded by thousands of people and loud music every night of work, the last thing one wants to do on a night off is go surround yourself with tons of people and loud music. Not to say I don't, but not all the time. I'd rather go somewhere a little more low key and have a good laugh.
