"Love many. Trust Few. Do wrong to no one."
~ Yau-Man Chan (the true Survivor of Fiji)
Music, especially that of Peter Noone (original singer of the Herman's Hermits)...
and country music, but love to listen to it all types. Really great music soothes the soul in a special way!
Photography is a big part of my life. I've been taking pictures since I was a teenager! I love to document the important, exciting times in my life with the story of pictures.
Creative writing of short stories and poetry with hopes to one day write that novel inside of me...one day it will burst out....just hope somone wants to read it??? Don't lose any sleep about this one, Stephen King...LOL
I also own an Ovation guitar and used to write, yes country songs. Another plan is to dust the babee off and dig in again.... Where does all the time go?
People who do not take life too seriously and want to have fun!!!! I love people I can learn something from and people that have a real zest for life!
Always remember the sacrifice so many have given for our freedom.
At the risk of yes, repeating myself, Peter Noone (Herman's Hermits), who is still touring today, most country (especially Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood, Terri Clark, Toby Keith, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill....oh Lord, don't even get me started). R&B is awesome...I love Billy Ocean with that jumping tune of his "Carribean Queen". I love rock the old and new stuff..Love the Rolling Stones and have seen them 3 times in concert. Love reggae and Bob Marley....Just say ALL genres...that will work...
I have so many favorites! Hubby and I saw "American Gangster" tonight.... whoa Denzel! It scares me how you have tarnished your "nice guy" image...LOL! Great job changing it up there. Also,I love "City of Angels", Nottinghill and anything with Hugh Grant. I love Julia Roberts movies. Most recent views are "Music and Lyrics" and "Because I Said So". I also love a good comedy. "Tommy Boy" and "Space Balls" are two of my classic faves.
Just look at CBS programming and I've probably watched it or still do. I love all the CSIs from LV, NYC and Miami. Love Numbers, Ghost Whisperer, NCIS, Cold Case and Close to Home...bet you wish you didn't ask, huh?
Anything by Patricia Cornwell, Sandra Brown or Susan Elizabeth Phillips. Most recently, I've discoverd Kat Martin. This woman has written a phenomenal number of well plotted novels...how have I been overlooking her? I especially love it when a writer writes using North Carolina and/or South Carolina as their setting. Also, am waiting for Dean Koontz to write another book about his character Odd Thomas. What a cool character!
The unsung heroes that you don't see recognized like that person who works tirelessly in a life or death job so we can sleep peacefully at night and carry on a regular life (whatever normal is?) or that person that offers you their seat on the bus or that person that flits in your life long enough for a fleeting conversation on the elevator and that snippet on human contact that changes your outlook on the whole day. I also feel these are hard times in our country and that we should continue to band together instead of finding fault with each other. Don't analyze everything you think George W. has done wrong. He is one man....get out there and change your part of the world for the better instead of criticizing how much or little someone else has done...
