He serves as chief executive officer of the "KM Group" which has its headquarters in Washington DC, and branches in Jacksonville, NC & New York, NY. The Kylie Mariah Consulting group is an international, multi-faceted service and creative workgroup that specializes in everything from special event planning to corporate marketing for private and government business. We are a company equipped with the personnel, leadership, and expertise necessary for survival in today's global community and global economy. Darius Mitchell, our chief executive officer and founder believes, "Misunderstanding of the present is the inevitable consequence of ignorance of the past," and we live by the axiom as a company in our recognition of our target customers and markets. Our mission is simply to provide superior products and services to our client and consumer base in a manner that is creative, effective, and more importantly profitable. We are a company that sets trends in the evolution and revolution of dominant mainstream culture with particular emphasis on media, music, & marketing culture. Darius is a 2002 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and his former and current employee listings include The United States Department of Education, The Raven Film Company, and Vincent & Co. He has a two bachelor of arts from UNC-Charlotte in political & international studies, and communications with a track in public policy. He also attended Regent University school of Law in 2003 serving as parliamentarian in the black law student's association and completed his first year with merit but chose to forgo his legal studies and contract with the United States Department of Education as a communications specialist and reading specialist. He also serves as the chief executive officer of the Kylie Mariah Group, and has several other entities including DMV Tutoring, INC., DC-365 Events, Innovative Sounds, LLC., and the "D. Line" clothing line, where he also serves as the chief. Mr. Mitchell has taken his expertise from the federal sector, law school, and the Raven Film Company, and created one of today's most diverse corporations comprised of over 25 industry professionals ranging from attorneys and educators, to researchers, and tech gurus. The company is named after his daughter, Miss Kylie Mariah who is set to inherit the the KM Group and its assets at the age of 18.
