once up on a time in China a woman was out collecting winter firewood and found a venomous snake, half frozen. She picked it up and held it close to her to keep it warm. The woman Decided the snake would die if she left it out in the snow so she brought it home. When she returned with the snake she built a fire to keep it warm and gave it some clean water to drink. as she sat with the poor thing in her lap, the woman was so impressed buy the snakes brilliant, jade green, scales that that she thought "how could anyone fear or dispise such a beautiful thing". Just then the snake turned to look up at the woman and quickly bit her on the hand. She began to scream " how could you do this to me!!! I held you close and kept you warm!!! I took you into my house!!! I gave you water!!! Now I will die and since the fire will go out, and this house will freez, so will you. The snake looked up at her and replied " you stupid bitch... you knew i was a snake when you found me in the snow."
