About Me

I'm like a mosquito @ a nudist colony; I don't know where to begin. ...Over 12 years now that I have been writing and/or considering myself a writer/poet. I've always found forming (words, letters, etc.) on a surface, as with a pen or pencil(Webster's New World Dictionary and Thesaurus, pg. 735)interesting, but I was unable to do so. I remember my mother ordering all the books that are children's classics now. Books like, Mother Goose with hundreds of stories in it. The Doctor Suess and Walt Disney Collections. You know, all the throwback reading material. And if my memory services me correctly, the years were the mid to late seventies. Sort of the best years ever for me. My mother stopped buying me books because I only looked at the pictures and drew on the covers or inside the books. Hence, I never learned to read or write compared to my peers and grade level. I was that special kid. You know, that kid that would have to put away their materials early to go to their special class across the yard in the bungalows. I couldn't read, write, or spell. I couldn't focus. My interest in school was an investment wasted. I enjoyed singing, breakin', and later on graffiti, although i wasn't very good @ either. I was an outcast in everyway possible, now that i reminisce. Always into the arts, but not quite distinguished enough. Although some say, "the arts have no rules." So, what was i? i didn't fit in with the regular kids. So what am i?Passion I am a man of Passions; absorbed in color. Do not quench your inspiration and your imagination. Keep something of your original Character, for otherwise one has no root in oneself. It is wise to do so, for Life is short and time passes quickly. One must never let the fire go out in ones soul, but keep it burning. Vincent Van GoghWe're all different"We have become not a melting pot but a beautiful mosiac. Different people, different beliefs, different yearnings, different hopes, different dreams." -Jimmy Carter"Prejudice rarely survives experience."-Eve Zibart"Attitude is a little thing that makes a BIG difference!"- Unknown
