My influences span from classical to hip hop; rock to jazz, but I'd have to say that my music would fall in the "pop/r&b" category (if I must choose one). My taste in music is very open and rather than listing all the genres I like, I'd describe my favs and influences as artists who can really sing and have genuine talent. Some include: Jason Mraz, Sara Bareilles, Aretha Franklin, Diana Krall, Brian McKnight, Christina Aguilera, n' Alicia Keys...Marc Broussard, Ernie Halter, and so on and so on...
Been playing piano since I was 4. Was classically trained thru high school then expanded to jazz, pop, and rhythm/blues. I've won several IAJE awards, and even the Louis Armstrong award (ooh la la!). I've had the privilage or working with several producers from here to Japan, and am currently working on demo projects :) That's it for now... I'll add to this thing as I remember haha
