A native of Atlanta, Ga, Buck Power's signature style stems from the rough southeast Summerhill community where he grew up. Rapping since the age of 10, the youngster had a natural love for music. While growing up Buck started hanging around a notable underground group CMP. CMP allowed Buck to rap 16 bars on their song entitled "Young Guns" which was featured on their 1998 independent album called Da Game. His standout verse from the album would spark a new begining for this young MC.Buck was signed to Top 20 Records, a independent label located in Atlanta which was also the label home of the group CMP. In 2000, Buck released his debut album respectfully titled Last Prayer. Shortly thereafter, Buck's anticipated sophomore album One Way In One Way Out was released and became an underground smash featuring southern heavyweights Ying Yang Twins, Lil Scrappy, and Gangsta Boo. Now with his third album, Buck's debut single "Put Your Swagg On" is tearing up club dance floors throughout the southeast introducing a refreshing rendition of the infectious southern musical sound known as snap music.
