About Me

My band bio/ musical background goes as such:
I am a singer, songwriter, musician in the band The Threds. I am currently mixing our debut album "A Frayed Knot" and we will be releasing it this summer.
My music bio/background:
Power Soul (rock/metal) 1991-1992; We played at the 1992 "Rock the Vote" at Norton Auditorium and also played at Club13 as well as other various events.
TC Fan (rock) 1992-1993; This is the first project I was in with Eddie Aldridge. The band was managed by Eddie's mother, the late and very talented Ava Aldridge. I was in the band all of 2 weeks and we went into Randy Cutlip's studio in downtown Sheffield. Ava was very patient and taught me so much about the art of recording my voice.
New Clear Dawn (alt hard rock)1993-1994; as TC Fan fell apart, me and Eddie decided to move forward. We kept the bassist (David Panich) from TC Fan. Bo Murphy and Dave Vasquez from Power Soul also joined in along with percussionist Bek Picker. Our first gig was opening act at Big Spring Jam where we opened for Jason and the Scorchers and Wide Spread Panic. A month or so later we entered into a battle of the bands in Huntsville's "Velvet Underground". We placed second out of about 200 bands and this is where we met up and coming singer Bo Bice.
The bands all had one thing in common, the dreaded one year curse. As each band evolved and increased it's potential for success, it still was not a fast enough process for some, which lead to the last bands demise.
Sky Jelly Fetti (alt/jam rock)2002-2003; Another project with Eddie Aldridge and is where I first met and worked with Ben Andrews. Our biggest gig was opening for Charlie Daniels Band.
Currently I am involved in The Threds which has proven to last past the dreaded 1 year curse!! We have many MANY original songs and will be releasing the first of many (good Lord willing) releases to come.
