About Me

Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., my dad took my mom and I to Nigeria West Africa when I was two months old to search our roots. This trip reaffirmed my dad's previous discovery of our Ethiopian Jewish heritage. We returned to America shortly after with the hopes of immigrating to Israel one day.In 1990 my dad, my brother, and my sisters and I stopped over in Nigeria West Africa to visit a tribe of African Jews called the Igbo, on our way to the Holy Land. At that time Nigeria's government was in turmoil and we ended up stuck in Africa for over a year and a half. That trip changed my life. It was my introduction to Torah study and Jewish studies in general. It was where I was formally introduced to Reggae through Alpha Blondie's hit Jerusalem. Things would never be the same. As a result of this experience, I am always greatful for what Yah has given me, no matter what the situation is.In 1995 my family and I immigrated to Israel. Subsequently my brother and I served in the Israeli Defense Force. After my release, I temporarily relocated to England to pursue Audio Engineering. In February, 2006 I came to the Bay Area Where I met my beautiful wife and soulmate. ever since Africa I have been writing, producing and playing Reggae. I have produced Queen Makedah's sophomore Album "Spiritual Healing" and have played with original founding members of the Twinkle Brothers, Ras Michael and the band Roots Afrika formed by Alpha Blondie's original bass player just to name a few. My dream is to see Yah's name elevated through his music, Roots Reggae!

Definitely my dad. After my mom passed He raised me and my sisters and brothers alone and taught us to always treat others the way you want to be treated. The amazing thing is that not only did he teach this, he lives it! He's not wealthy, but he gave us all riches to carry into the next life. I think of him as a righteous man.
