Blair Perkins is a 16 year old Singer, Songwriter, Actor, Model, Producer, Dancer, from California. He started singing at the age of 2 years old imitating stars such as Michael Jackson and Pattie Labelle. By imitating at a young age, Blair taught himself how to sing, harmonize and dance. At the age of 11 Blair meet Sharon Wallace, A singing/theatre instructor and also the sister to a legendary singer Cheryl Lynn who's known by her Singing abilities and her smash hit "Got to Be Real". From there Blair and Sharon worked long days with voice and breathing technique until Blair cut his first demo, the demo included songs such as "I'll Be There" by, The Jackson 5, and "Fighter" a powerful rock song by, Christina Aguilera. From there Blair Performed for Celebrities such as Kurt Douglas, John Travolta, Master P. Blair has also appeared on music video's such as "Welcome Back" by Ma$e (2004), "Never Forget (Tribute To 2Pac) by Napoleon (2005) "My Cinderella" by Lil' Romeo (2004) and he as also appeared on "Dance 360"(2004). One major step in building Blair's confidence was when he tried out for "Jam X Kids" which premiered on television March 12, 2006. Blair not only tried out but made it into the top 12 out of 300 children. Blair has also has performed with Ricky Minor, a musical director who is now the musician for the best reality show on television "American Idol". Blair biggest wish is to become an entertainer and someday get signed to a major record company, but for know Blair will continue to be out in the world making a name for himself! ............I am ready to be an entertainer, I feel that I have enough talent to become a star someday and with the current training I've received will enhance this dream even more. I enjoy singing, dancing, acting, and writing songs, I can't remember any day that passed when I haven..t attempted to do one of the four. I have been singing since the age of two and realized that I wanted to this for the rest of my life. Singing is my passion although I do enjoy dancing and acting. I have thirteen years of experience singing. I have won many local and state talent competition events, and performed in various Showcases, Theater and Music Videos. I also had the opportunity to perform with Music Director-Bass Player, Ricky Minor and Music Director-Drum Player, Ricky Lawson (Both Directors has years of working Professional R & B Singers).Here are some of my experiences: A local talent show winner in 2003 for the City of Bellflower, Ca., a local talent show Winner 2003 for the City of Corona, Ca. The Press- Enterprise Newspaper Vocal Winner Sunday, November 3, 2003. Local and State Talent Competitions .. California..s Star Quest State Competition won Vocal 2004, Radio Disney Kid Star Vocal 2004. Corona-Norco Unified School District .. Guess Singer for the Tribute to Education 2004, this was televised for 6 months. The 10th Annual Bravo Awards .. ..Guest Singer Blair Perkins.. for Actor Kirk Douglas, this was televised for one year in 2004. Showcase Singer for The Celebrity Center International located in Hollywood Ca. 2004,2005 and 2006, plus more up coming events for 2007 (America..s Got Talent and Spotlight Awards) and now has currently won the Hollywood Pop Academy Stevie Wonder Scholarship Award (2007).
