I was born as a bastard child in the north of Norway in the year 1977. In this frosty landscape I was growing up during the 80s while listening to metal like W.A.S.P., Twisted Sister, Tindrum, Europe and AC/DC. But my soul was not sold before I heard the almighty Iron Maiden in 1988. The band is still to this my all time favorite. Metal of all genres has become I big part of my life and I spend a lot of time at gigs and summer festivals. I also write for the Norwegian metal magazine called Scream Magazine. Another big part of my life is my love for horror movies. As a kid I was always fascinated by the morbid and the macabre, so the 80s horror icons as Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees become big heroes. I like all kind of movies but the horror genre has always remained closest to my heart. I write about horror movies on the Norwegian horror website called Skrekkfilm.com. Of course you can’t live on listening to metal and watching horror movies, so to finance my alcohol consume I work in a kinder garden teaching the next generation the finer things in life like rocking out and watching Vincent Price.
