Firstly I am a sound recordist for film/TV/Documentary, I have a reasonable showreal and CV and am constantly on the look out for interesting projects to get involved with.I perform as a Global Music DJ (DJ Cous Cous) in various venues across London. Souk Sunday runs every 3rd sunday of the month at the Lock Side Lounge in Camden Lock.. A mellow blend of arabic/asian/african/roots infused music, with underground films and documentary from around the globe, board games and great food to while away a sunday afternoon. Souk Sound runs bi-monthly in the same venue on a Friday night. Watch the blog for the next one.
I am heavily interested in global environmental consciousness and am working as a volunteer in a number of organisations aimed at raising awareness of the issues facing the planet today.
This is my real passion and I would like to use my professional skills in this arena, by either making films to support these causes; through radio broadcast journalism; or more directly, talking to the younger generations to educate and empower them so that they can not repeat the mistakes this generation has made with the world.. We have somewhat misused the trust and resources of our planet during our watch, don't you think?
