I AM UNDEFEATED AT WRESTLEMANIA "14-0" HERE R MY VICTIMS:**************************************************** ***** WrestleMania VII - Undertaker vs. Jimmy "Superfly" SnukaWrestleMania VII saw Undertakers WrestleMania debut, as he took on WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy Superfly Snuka. Only six months after his WWE debut, Undertaker began his incredible WrestleMania undefeated streak by pinning the Superfly in short order.Undertaker dominated the match, hitting his signature flying clothesline early in the bout. Snuka would make a short comeback, but ran into a knee in the corner from the Deadman, sending him crashing to the arena floor. Undertaker regained control, but the Hall of Famer still had some fight left in him.As the match came to conclusion, Snuka attempted a flying bodypress; his attempt was unsuccessful, and he was sent to the arena floor once again. Undertaker quickly brought Snuka back into the ring, where he nailed the Tombstone Piledriver to get the victory. ************************************************************ ** WrestleMania VIII - Undertaker vs. Jake "The Snake" RobertsIn the fall of 1991, Undertaker and Jake Roberts formed a tenuous alliance based on their simultaneous rivalry with Ultimate Warrior. Together, they also targeted the then-retired Randy Macho Man Savage, crashing him & Elizabeths wedding reception after SummerSlam that year. However, things began to turn sour later in the year, and Undertaker would eventually save Elizabeth from a chair-wielding Roberts. The Deadman made it clear that he was no longer on Roberts side after that, setting up a grudge match between the two at WrestleMania.Early in the match, Roberts tried to exchange fists with the Deadman, but he was unable to faze him. Roberts would eventually get Undertaker down to the arena floor, where he laid a stiff beating on the Deadman.Jake would eventually hit his signature DDT, but Undertaker shook it off, doing his trademark sit-up immediately after Roberts hit the move. Roberts hit the DDT again, but instead of pinning Undertaker, he chose to go after Paul Bearer. The Deadman sat up again, and after chasing Roberts outside the ring, nailed The Snake with a Tombstone Piledriver on the floor. The Deadman then rolled Roberts back into the ring for the easy three count, making it 2-for-2 at WrestleMania. ************************************************************ *** WrestleMania IX - Undertaker vs. Giant GonzalesIn late 1992, Undertaker found himself embroiled in a rivalry with Kamala and his manager, Harvey Wippleman. After the Deadman defeated Kamala in a Casket Match at Survivor Series, Wippleman went looking for another charge to take on Undertaker. What he found was the nearly 8-foot tall Giant Gonzales, who left his mark by choking out the Deadman at the 1993 Royal Rumble and eliminating him from the match.Their showdown was set for WrestleMania IX, and it was to be Undertakers biggest test to date. In an attempt to get into his opponents head, Undertaker rode to the ring on the back of a Roman chariot with vultures by his side.During the match, the two men brawled back and forth, with neither man being able to subdue his opponent long enough to claim the victory. Finally, after several attempts to take down Undertaker failed, Wippleman gave Gonzales a rag soaked with ether. The giant monster used the rag to smother the Deadman into unconsciousness; while the task succeeded, it drew a disqualification, giving Undertaker the victory.Undertaker was taken out of the ring on a stretcher, but before getting back to the locker room, the Deadman rose off the stretcher and ran back to the ring to attack Gonzales one more time. ************************************************************ ** WrestleMania XI - Undertaker vs. King Kong BundyAfter a nearly 8-month hiatus, Undertaker returned to WWE at SummerSlam 1994, defeating an impostor Undertaker that Ted DiBiase brought to WWE in the real Deadmans absence. After the victory, Undertaker spent most of the next year going up against Ted DiBiase and his Million Dollar Corporation. At the 1995 Royal Rumble, Undertaker was able to defeat DiBiases crony IRS; however, as King Kong Bundy distracted the Deadman after the match, IRS attacked Paul Bearer and stole Undertakers urn.At WrestleMania XI, Undertaker wanted retribution, and was matched up with King Kong Bundy. For this match, then-Major League Baseball umpire Larry Young was the special guest referee. Undertaker went in with multiple goals, most notably to regain control of the urn and keep his WrestleMania streak alive.Without the power of the urn, however, Undertaker was unable to overcome the size and power of the 400-pound plus Bundy for most of the match. Luckily for the Deadman, Paul Bearer was able to reclaim the urn from DiBiase during the match, giving Undertaker the boost he needed. He eventually felled the massive Bundy, pinning him after a vicious clothesline to extend his WrestleMania winning streak to four in a row. However, the victory was marred when Undertaker found out that Corporation member Kama had stolen the urn from Bearer once again late in the match. ************************************************************ ** WrestleMania XII - Undertaker vs. DieselAs 1996 began, Undertaker was the No. 1 Contender to the WWE Championship. At that years Royal Rumble, Undertaker had a chance to regain the gold he once wore when he met Bret Hart. However, as Undertaker had Hart pinned after a Tombstone Piledriver, former champion Diesel interfered, pulling the referee out of the ring and drawing a disqualification. The next month, Diesel fought Hart in a Steel Cage Match at an In Your House event. As Diesel had Hart beaten, Undertaker broke through the ring, grabbing Diesel and allowing Hart to escape the cage and retain the championship. Undertaker and Diesel were on a full collision course for WrestleMania XII, and the Deadman played mind games in the weeks leading up to the bout, including wheeling a casket loaded with a life-size replica of Diesel to the ring during one of his matches. At WrestleMania, the two men began to brawl as soon as the match began. Undertaker took it to Diesel early, sending him into the steel ring steps and beating his opponent down. However, Diesel would come back, sending Undertaker to the floor after dodging his trademark Old School Ropewalk.Diesel spent the majority of the bout pummeling Undertaker, hitting all of his signature moves, but was unable to keep the Deadman down. The Deadman made a comeback after escaping a bearhug, but Diesel was able to hit the Jackknife Powerbomb. Instead of pinning the Deadman, however, Diesel chose to punish him some more, a move which proved to be his undoing.Diesel hit another Jackknife, but the Undertaker shrugged off the move and sat up, much to Diesels disbelief. Undertaker then went after Diesel with a vengeance, choking the life out of his opponent. Undertaker hit a chokeslam, and followed with the Tombstone to get the three count. ************************************************************ ** WrestleMania 13 - Undertaker vs. SidPerhaps Undertakers biggest WrestleMania victory came in 1997 at WrestleMania 13. While his victory over Sid pushed his WrestleMania winning streak to six, it also gave him his second WWE Championship.Much like he was in 1996, Undertaker was a top contender to the WWE Championship at the beginning of 1997. When a controversial ending to the 1997 Royal Rumble cost the Deadman an opportunity at the gold, he was entered into Final Four Match that February. While he was unsuccessful that night (Bret Hart won the match to win his fourth WWE Championship), Undertaker bided his time, and soon found himself once again challenging for the gold; this time, Sid was the champion, and the opportunity came in the form of a No-Disqualification Match in the main event of WrestleMania 13.As the match began, Undertaker attacked a distracted Sid from behind. The advantage was short-lived, however, as Sid caught him in a bearhug. He would eventually send Undertaker to the floor, where he put the Deadman through the Spanish announcers table. After beating Undertaker on the floor, Sid brought him back into the ring and applied a camel clutch.Things looked grim for the Deadman, but he managed to make a comeback. The combatants battled back and forth, until Undertaker sat up as Sid attempted to come off the top rope. Undertaker went for the Tombstone, which Sid reversed into one of his own for a near fall. Luckily for Undertaker, Bret Hart came to the ring at that point, nailing Sid with a chair before being dragged away by officials. The attack gave the Deadman some time to recover, and he was able to hit Sid with a chokeslam. Sid escaped the pinfall, and would later nail Undertaker with his finishing powerbomb. Before Sid could cover, Hart made his way out again. Sid nailed Hart before he could get into the ring, but as the champion turned around, the Deadman was waiting. He scooped Sid up, nailing him with a Tombstone to gain the victory and the championship. ************************************************************ ** WrestleMania XIV - Undertaker vs. KaneIn late 1997, Paul Bearer revealed to the world that Undertaker had a younger brother named Kane. After weeks of Bearer tormenting the Deadman, Kane finally debuted in October 1997, costing Undertaker his Hell in a Cell Match with Shawn Michaels at Badd Blood. No matter what Kane did, Undertaker refused to fight back against his brotheruntil WrestleMania. At the 1998 Royal Rumble, Undertaker lost once again to Shawn Michaels, this time in a Casket Match for the WWE Championship. Kane, who had reconciled with his brother, double-crossed him to help HBK win the match. However, in a shocking display, Kane then wheeled the casket into the entranceway and lit it on fire, trying to burn Undertaker alive. He would survive, however, and came back on a February edition of RAW to challenge Kane to a match at WrestleMania.Early in the match, the two men slugged it out, with Kane having the advantage over the Deadman. The Big Red Monster threw everything he had at Undertaker, nearly knocking him out with the steel ring steps. Kane eventually hit a chokeslam, but pulled Undertaker up after a two count.Undertaker made a comeback, but attempted a death-defying plancha over the top rope, only to miss Kane and crash through the Spanish announcers table. Back inside the ring, Kane hit the Tombstone Piledriver and looked to have the match won, but Undertaker miraculously kicked out at the two count. With one last burst of energy, Undertaker made his final comeback. Undertaker hit a chokeslam and then gave Kane a Tombstone, but Kane also kicked out at two. The Deadman tried another Tombstone, but Kane kicked out again; finally, after a third Tombstone, Undertaker was able to keep the Big Red Monster down, getting the pinfall to improve to 7-0 at WrestleMania. ************************************************************ ** WrestleMania XV - Undertaker vs. Big Boss Man in a Hell in a Cell MatchIn early 1999, Undertaker recruited Viscera, Mideon, The Brood and The Acolytes to form the Ministry of Darkness. The group targeted WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon and his Corporation, which featured The Rock, Ken Shamrock and Big Boss Man among others. However, Undertakers ultimate target was Stephanie McMahon, and he would do anything to try to get to her.On a March episode of RAW, the Ministry attempted to sacrifice Big Boss Man, who had saved Mr. McMahon from being chokeslammed through a table the week before. Boss Man escaped the attempted sacrifice, but had nowhere to go when Mr. McMahon sent him into WrestleMania to face Undertaker in a match the Deadman had competed in twice before, Hell in a Cell.Undertakers Hell in a Cell experience came in handy early, as the two men brawled throughout the structure. Boss Man was able to handcuff the Deadman to the Cell, however, and busted Undertaker open by ramming him into the steel. Undertaker would return the favor to Boss Man later in the match, as the two continued to violently brawl. Finally, Undertaker was able to nail Boss Man with the Tombstone Piledriver to pick up the win, increasing his WrestleMania streak to eight in a row. ************************************************************ * WrestleMania X-Seven - Undertaker vs. Triple HHeading into WrestleMania X-Seven, Undertaker was looking for an opponent for the biggest show of the year. On the March 8, 2001 edition of SmackDown, he found one. Triple H stood in the ring, saying that he had done it all, and that he had no one left to beat in WWE. Undertaker took offense to this statement and made his way to the ring, telling Triple H that he had never beaten him. Undertaker then challenged the game for WrestleMania X-Seven, and after a couple weeks of mind games, the match was on.Throughout the match, the two men brawled all over the arena. Undertaker put Triple H through the Spanish announcers table at one point, but Triple H was able to gain control back inside the ring. The Game went for his sledgehammer early, but the referee stopped him, and the Deadman made a comeback. The referee was knocked out momentarily, and after Undertaker chokeslammed Triple H, the groggy referees slow count allowed Triple H to kick out of the pinfall. Undertaker then assaulted the referee, taking him out of the match, and The Game and the Deadman brawled to the floor. The two men then headed up towards the entranceway, ending up where the technical equipment was set up. Triple H nailed the Deadman with several chairshots, but Undertaker kept coming, and they ended up on a scaffold. Undertaker grabbed Triple H, chokeslamming him off the scaffold to the floor nearly 10 feet below. Undertaker then followed him down with an elbowdrop, and brought The Game back to the ring to try to finish him off.Back in the ring, Undertaker tried to use Triple Hs sledgehammer, but The Game used a low blow to avoid it. Undaunted, the Deadman nailed The Game with a Tombstone, but the referee was still knocked out. Undertaker then went for the Last Ride instead, but Triple H had possession of the sledgehammer and nailed the Deadman right between the eyes. Triple H made a cover as the referee finally recovered, but Undertaker kicked out before the three count. Triple H then brought Undertaker to the corner, and climbed the ropes to pound away. Instead, the Deadman grabbed The Game, stepped out of the corner, and hit a second Last Ride. This time, it was enough, and Undertaker pinned Triple H to make it 9-0 and WrestleMania. ************************************************************ WrestleMania X8 - Undertaker vs. Ric FlairAt No Way Out 2002, Undertaker took on The Rock, and interference from Ric Flair cost the Deadman the match. The next night on RAW, the Deadman challenged Flair to a match at WrestleMania, which Flair declined. Undertaker told Flair that he would make him change his mind, and he did just that.Over the next few weeks, Undertaker brutally attacked those close to Flair, including best friend Arn Anderson. Once Undertaker attacked Flairs son David, The Nature Boy finally accepted the match. However, because Flair was then the co-owner of WWE, he had to forfeit all responsibilities to partner Mr. McMahon, who promptly made the match a No-Disqualification Match.Early in the match, Flair took out his aggressions on Undertaker, pummeling the Deadman from pillar to post. Undertaker was able to turn the tide, and proceeded to methodically pound Flair, busting him open in the process. Eventually, Flair was able to block the Deadmans attempt to go Old School and make a comeback, hammering Undertaker with a pipe in the process. The two men then brawled on the floor, with Flair busting Undertaker open in return. After a low blow, Flair applied the Figure-Four Leglock, but the Deadman escaped and hit a chokeslam. The Deadman nailed the referee in frustration, but before he could attack Flair with the pipe, Arn Anderson ran in and gave Undertaker a spinebuster. However, Flair was only able to get a two count, as the referee was still woozy from the earlier attack. As the match reached conclusion, Flair nailed Undertaker with a chair, but the Deadman was able to shrug off the blow. Undertaker knocked Flair down, then took out Anderson with a dragon sleeper. Following a big boot, Undertaker nailed The Nature Boy with a Tombstone to get the pinfall, running his WrestleMania record to a perfect 10-0. ************************************************************ WrestleMania XIX - Undertaker vs. Big Show & A-TrainAt WrestleMania XIX, Undertaker was scheduled to compete in his first WrestleMania tag-team match. However, on HEAT prior to the pay-per-view, Undertakers partner, Nathan Jones, was injured by opponents Big Show & A-Train, forcing the Deadman to fend for himself in a 2-on-1 situation. When the match began, Undertaker was quickly able to nail A-Train with a chokeslam, but couldnt follow up with a pinfall attempt. Undertaker also took it to Big Show early, before Show & A-Train hit the floor to regroup. Once back in the ring, the numbers game caught up with Undertaker, and A-Train hit the Derailer on the Deadman for a two count. Big Show then came in and sent Undertaker to the ringpost, giving his team the advantage.Undertaker managed to fight back using some mixed martial arts moves, and nailed both opponents with a series of flying clotheslines. However, A-Train was able to hit a bicycle kick that looked to end the match, but the Deadman miraculously kicked out before the three count.Big Show then came in to hit a chokeslam, but before he could make the cover, all hell broke loose. Nathan Jones was able to shake off the earlier attack and make his way to ringside, where he nailed Big Show with a spinning kick. This distracted A-Train long enough for the Deadman to recover, and he nailed A-Train with a Tombstone to get the pinfall. With the win, Undertakers WrestleMania record reached an unprecedented 11-0. ************************************************************ WrestleMania XX - Undertaker vs. KaneAt Survivor Series 2003, Kane helped Mr. McMahon defeat Undertaker in a Buried Alive match. While Kane sided with the WWE Chairman to help him send the Deadman to an early grave, he really only angered his brother. At the 2004 Royal Rumble, Undertaker returned and began to play mind games with Kane. As the No. 13 entrant, Spike Dudley, was set to enter the match, the lights went out and Undertakers familiar gong was heard. This distracted Kane, causing him to be blindsided and eliminated from the match. After weeks of the mind games, Undertaker challenged Kane to a match at WrestleMania XX. The Big Red Monster accepted, and the two were set to square off in an inter-promotional RAW vs. SmackDown showdown.Prior to the match, the familiar druids began to march to ringside, carrying flaming torches. Finally, after nearly four months, the Deadman made his return, reunited with former manager Paul Bearer for the first time in eight years. It was clear that Undertaker had the psychological advantage, as Kane could not believe that his brother had returned. The two monsters slugged it out early, brawling in the ring and spilling out onto the floor. Undertaker hit his signature legdrop off the apron, but once back inside the ring, Kane blocked a Last Ride and took control of the match. The Big Red Monster put the Deadman down with a big boot and proceeded to pound away on his brother. The two brawled back and forth some more, and Kane hit the Deadman with a chokeslam. However, instead of covering Undertaker, Kane chose to taunt the fallen Deadman. Undertaker then sat up, much to Kanes chagrin, and that was the beginning of the end. The Deadman hit Kane with a flying clothesline and chokeslam before nailing the Tombstone Piledriver, and that was enough to put down the Big Red Monster for the pinfall. With the victory, Undertaker ran his record to 12-0 at WrestleMania, including 2-0 against Kane and 1-0 in inter-promotional matches. ************************************************************ ** WrestleMania 21 - Undertaker vs. Randy OrtonPrior to WrestleMania 21, Randy Orton, then a RAW Superstar, was looking to do something to make an impact at WrestleMania. After taking some advice from Hall of Famer Superstar Billy Graham, Orton knew what he had to do. In order to cement his status as the Legend Killer, Orton decided to challenge the biggest Legend he had yet to take on: Undertaker.Undertaker accepted the challenge, and the contract was signed on SmackDown. The match marked the second consecutive year that Undertaker was involved in an inter-promotional match; in fact, just three days before their battle, the Legend Killer made a surprise appearance on SmackDown, nailing Undertaker with an RKO after Cowboy Bob Orton begged the Deadman to have mercy on Randys soul. The match was set for WrestleMania: the young, cocky upstart against the man who owned WrestleMania. The two men exchanged blows as the match began, and the Deadman blocked an early attempt at the RKO, sending Orton to the floor instead. Undertaker hit his signature legdrop off the apron, and then went Old School on Orton. However, he would soon find himself sent flying into the barrier around the ring, and Orton took control of the match.Undertaker made a comeback, hitting Orton with a DDT, followed up by his signature Snake Eyes. The Deadman then hooked on a dragon sleeper, but the Legend Killer fought out and applied a sleeper of his own. Undertaker escaped, and after the two men slugged it out, the Deadman went for the Last Ride. The Legend Killer would escape, however, and the referee was knocked down in the aftermath. At that point, Cowboy Bob Orton ran in and nailed Undertaker with his cast, but it only got a two count for Randy. Undertaker fought off Cowboy Bob, but walked into an RKO; somehow, Undertaker was able to escape the pinfall, flustering the Legend Killer. Orton then tried to finish the Deadman off with his own finisher, the Tombstone, but Undertaker reversed it into one of his own. That was enough to get the pinfall, giving the Deadman a perfect 13-0 WrestleMania record. ************************************************************ *** WrestleMania 22 - Undertaker vs. Mark Henry in a Casket MatchAt WrestleMania 22, Undertaker put another notch in his proverbial WrestleMania belt, defeating Mark Henry in a Casket Match to run his WrestleMania record to a perfect 14-0.Early in the match, Henry tried to use his size and power to drop the Deadman. He sent Undertaker crashing into the steel ring steps at one point, but the Deadman made a comeback. After the Deadman went Old School, he rolled Henry into the casket, but the World's Strongest Man landed feet-first. The two men then battled inside the casket, and Undertaker rolled Henry back into the ring.Once back in the ring, Henry made a comeback, even hitting the Worlds Strongest Slam. Normally, that would finish most opponents, but Henry could not roll the Deadman into the casket. Instead, they battled into the corner, where Undertaker muscled Henry into a Last Ride out of the corner. Henry was then sent out of the ring, and Undertaker followed up with a breathtaking suicide dive, clearing the top rope and the casket to crash into Henry on the arena floor.Back inside the ring, the Deadman quickly hit a Tombstone Piledriver and was easily able to roll Henry into the casket. Undertaker shut the lid, winning the first-ever Casket Match in WrestleMania history. ************************************************************ ****
