"LE TEMPS DETRUIT TOUT" is french for "Time Destroys All Things", a reference to a movie by French film director, Gaspar Noe. This is a future multi-media gallery showing with contributors on an international level that sets out to portray clocks or time as reminders of death.
Submissions can be welcome in any medium, with no concern for the level of experience provided that they fit the theme, and are accepted by an email with a thorough description, image, media file, or link to the work.Intersted persons should contact [email protected] and be able to hold on to their work, provided that it is approved, until given further instructions on shipment.
The deadline is only when there are 100 actual clocks submitted that have been rendered to look grim or formidable.
There will be a live installation of appliances that will be set to go off at once, and live performances by various electronics wizards who have manipulated clocks into musical instruments.
A compilation of music inspired by the concept is being gathered, and film submissions are currently being accepted. Any other media that acheives the desired goal is welcome. There will be a section devoted to literature, and possibly a set time to do readings.
Currently this project is pursuing grants and donations so that objectives that cannot be achieved by the curator can be comissioned.
This project will go on until the desired effect is achieved, and so patience is required of contributors.
