About Me

I'd like to think of myself as a minimalist, or at least a student of minimalism. No...its not because I dont have any furniture either. But because I've decided to try and keep my life free of clutter, useless possesions, memorabila, unneccessary words, and relationships that wont always be there. Minimalism is out of necessity, but if you only have what you absolutely need... You choose the best quality things. I'm a commercial diver, I work mostly for the oil industry in the Gulf of Mexico. The first thing people ask is either "Do you see sharks?" or "you mean like underwater welding?" I'll answer now in hopes that if I ever meet you in person I can avoid these questions. Yes, there are sharks...its the fucking ocean. Shark is gamey but if you soak the meat in milk over night it makes it more tender. Yes, I do underwater welding...but not limited to. You'd be suprised at all the things you can do in underwater construction. They have underwater chainsaws for fucksake! So, this is my schedule for the most part; I go on a 45-60 day contract where I go and live on a boat or oil platform. No booze, drugs, or women. I finish that out thirsty and horny as hell, then I go somewhere for 45-60 to blow the money I made on ridiculous shit. Cheers! I'm well groomed yet totally fucked up. I'm convinced I have better taste than you. But I'm also convinced that most people think that about themselves. I allow those who need to feel more intelligent than me to do so, but at the exchange of knowing I could beat the fucking shit out of them. Its hard to explain what type of person you are when at times you seem to parelell yourself. I guess the medical term for that is 'Bi-polar', but I like to think of it more as having extreme broad horizons. I'm a cynic, a romantic, a daydreamer, a fighter, a fucker, a self proclaimed genius, an alcoholic and I floss at least twice a week.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

people who can relate to and deal with my schedule. i.e. porn stars, rock stars, models, trust fund babies. yeah

Movie Review

I admit that I went to see the movie 'Black Snake Moan' because the trailer showed a beat up looking white girl chained up in her underwear by a black man. It didn't exactly go where my imagination ha...

To impress a girl

I was 19. 19 was a good year for me. 15,19,23 were all years that stuck out in memory as being particualarly wild. I'm sure there is a pattern there but I don't care to do the math.At 19 I was a bit m...

Take me with you

It was cold out. Chicago cold. The kind that seems to test your will. Its always as though something is testing you here in this city, to see how far it can push you before you leave, or die...
