I was born in New York City, raised in suburban Connecticut, and educated in Chicago. In a fit of rebellion against a lifetime of frozen toes, a runny nose, and shoveling snow, I ran away to Los Angeles in 2002 to become... happy. (You thought I'd say an actor, didn't you? Fooled ya!) I will always be a New Yorker at heart, but I absolutely adore my sunshiny new outlook on the world.
Fantasy beats reality nine times out of ten, which accounts for my life-long obsession with books, movies, and anything the least bit theatrical. As a literary agent and writer, I own more books than places to put them, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Other interests include music, travel, photography, food (yes, I'm a foodie), and pretty much whatever other adventures my friends like to cook up.
