"Culture is a big part of the dance world. Dance has its place in almost every country around the world. The categories are big, from salsa to jazz, hip-hop dance (Break Dancing, Clown dance or krunping), West African to River dance (tap dance). Similar dance steps in another country might be called something else or said in a different language. Some dancers benefit from touring with live musicals or stage performances. Such as Broadway musicals, like Stomp, Disney on Ice and other big named tours with big money behind the tour. Being in music videos with choreographed moves help dancers make a lot of money for doing what they love. Music makes the world go round, sometimes dancers use music they dance to describe the culture or style the dancer(s) represent."

Street Noise Dance Company started in Providence, Rhode Island in the summer of 2004. Co-founded by Jeremy <[i>Suave] Richerson and Kevin <[i>Pantha] Kehyei. It became a company in fall 2004 as a school project. Street Noise is a break danceand hip hop culture dance group for all ages and races. The company contains 12 members from all over Rhode Island and Mass. Street Noise has already performed at major fashion shows, opened up for concerts such as Young Bloodz, T-Pain, Dip Set, G-Unit, Roccafella, etc. and also were background dancers for recording artist, b-boy dance battles, hip-hop summits and other events like fundraisers for churches. Each member of the company manages different positions to help run the buisness. Street Noiseis the next generation of entertainers.
