About Me

Hi Everyone! I am officially a "South Georgian" now! I graduated from Smith College School for Social Work, August 18!!!!I started my new job the tuesday after I graduated working as a Child and Family Therapist doing in home therapy with people involved with social services. I am very happy to say that Jamie and I are officially together all the time as a married couple. We are finally settling down and finding a routine. I LOVE the feeling that I get when I think that my life is finally settling down and that Jamie and I are getting to experience life on a daily basis together. My Interests

I LOVE (cannot emphasize enough) Traveling...I have traveled to such places as London, Scotland, Bahamas (a few times), Mexico (twice), Peru (a few times) and different places around the US. I hope to travel to more places, in near future.

Movies:

Now we are talking. Big Movie Buff... it's my favorite past time. I ENJOY all types of chick flicks (cornier the better). Dirty Dancing, How to Loose a Guy in 10 days, Save the Last Dance, etc. I also enjoy good dramas, psycholgical thrillers, and movies about women in history (especially about western women). I'm not into foreign films or "scarey movies" (laughing here because I am marrying a man that would watch these movies all day long :-) Compromise...for every 1 thriller movie I get 2 chick flicks (ok ok I know this isn't fair but its been fun watching him beg not to see a chick flick :-)

Television:

Yes, TV aholic (I promise I am not a couch potatoe) but there is nothing like good TV. And what's up with all the crazy shows on now. Can I get a little nick at night (hey "Who's the Boss" was riskay for its time). Favorites: LOST, WB favorites, Sex and City, Friends, Wife Swap, Real World, ER, more that I can't think of, and recently getting into American Idle (what's happening to me :-).

Books:

Romance books, Anything by Nora Roberts, Jane Austin, Anything by Toni Morrison, and I'm sure there are others. I enjoy reading but would guiltly say I don't read as much as I would like.

Heroes:

My husband! (Really baby, you are AMAZING) My Sister! (Words cannot even express how much I admire her) My Parents! (World Travelors with really big hearts) Jamie & Kevin Dawson!(Wonderful Mentors and friends-Please move back to South GA)
