My main interest/past time is belly dance. I love, love, love it. I have an amazing teacher, Amar, and look forward to each class/rehearsal. I used to ski every winter but haven't in about 5 years. I'd like to get back into that. I love nature and being in it when I can. It's great to be by Central Park and go for walks around the reservoir or make snow angels. I like getting away from the city when I can. I love to travel and would like to be able to do more of it. I love my extended family and being with them. I've been interested in fashion design since elementary school and love design of any kind really. Jewelry design, interior design, architecture, any sort of crafting these are all cool.

I'm open to most music and listen to most types. I don't regularly listen to classical but enjoy it. Carmina Burana has been a favorite of mine. I have to say I don't like current country music. For the most part I listen to whatever Gerrard is listening to. I do have some favs though. I've always liked Jeff Buckley and think it's the best music to listen to when you want to be sad. There's a place in my heart for The Toadies (college days). My absolute all time favorite song is by Procal Harum and is called "A Whiter Shade of Pale". I've become a great fan of Thin Lizzy. The Violent Femmes and The Dead Milkmen take me back to high school. Oh and if I was around at the time I would have been a Zeppelin groupie (not really). Buddy Guy is the best showman I've ever had the pleasure to see. I'm also a Slick Rick fan and I love the Pixies. Okay I could keep on going but I'll stop. Wait 4 more I love Susan Cadogan's "Hurt So Good", Dire Straits, anything by Lee "Scratch" Perry and finally The Pioneers "Reggae Fever".
My all time favorite movie used to be "I'm Gonna Get You Sucka". Then for a short period it was "The Jerk". I've always loved "Like Water For Chocolate" and "Until the End of the World". Oh, almost forgot "Tommy Boy" is up there too!
I love and miss "The Chappelle Show". I'm a great fan of the original "Law and Order" and love it so much I've recently expanded to watching the other series. I enjoy "South Park", "Scare Tactics", and "Columbo". Used to be a huge "Northern Exposure" fan and "Absolutely Fabulous". Also, liked "Trigger Happy" for a while. Oh, every make-over be it face, fashion, or home show oh and every wedding show. I only like a couple of reality shows: "So, You Think You Can Dance" and "Project Runway".
Aldous Huxley's, A Brave New World, has always been a favorite. It's been a while since I read it so I want to reread it again. I remember another book from high school I liked by Chinua Achebe, Things Fall Apart. Honestly, I don't read as much as I should. Usually, I read on the subways too and from work. Often, instead of reading I end up falling asleep and only make it through 1 or 2 pages.
