About Me

One man band. I was born in Madrid, Spain, Military brat style. Before I was a year old, I was moved to Louisiana where I lived for about 9 years before moving again to Maryland. I've gotten a taste of the south and East, but only a little of the West (Las Vegas) and North (Michigan) but I've found that there's something to love in each location to say the least. I got into the music scene when I was close to graduating High school in 1999, and the first two albums I ever purchased were Daft Punk's Homework and Massive Attack's Mezzanine. Loved them both for a while but quickly started to branch out into different genres after watching a show called AMP on MTV for a while. Back in the day they had artists that I had never heard of at the time; Sun Electric, The Orb, Kreidler, Mocean Worker, Mass Hystereo. I was quickly taken by the different styles of music and concluded that electronic music was definitely higher on my interest list than most popular things in that time and even today. I didn't really start sampling my own music until recently, but I had beats in my head that I would have LOVED to produce back then...just didn't have the tools or know how. From my standpoint, I still don't know how, but I'm slowly trying to get into the game and figure things out. So far I'm doing the music and vocals, but that's going to change soon because my voice sucks. I still have yet to put my first vocal track out there, but it's coming soon. I'm taking a real casual approach to this music experimentation because as much as I love and appreciate music, I think there is so much great stuff out there already that I could never hold a candle to. I mainly enjoy what's already out there but sometimes I just have a beat in my head that I feel I just have to get out of me, and the best way to express that feeling is to feel it out through whatever instrument you have to work with. My current instruments of choice are FL Studio and Reason.

Influences: Blue Room Project, Benz & MD, Nathan Fake, Perry O'Neil, Sasha, Pole Folder, Darin Epsilon, Josh Wink, Kenny Larkin, Jeff Mills, Autechre, Plaid, Orbital, Todd Terry, Green Velvet...damn this list could go on for days. I guess I'll update it as I go along, but in short for now, I'm easily influenced by many great artists out there.
Sounds Like: Music! Each song I make kind of sounds like a different genre altogether, but typically I want to say the sound similar to stuff but Lolo.
