I'd like to meet:
The late n great James Yancey (Jay Dee), he was and is to me one of the greatest to ever do it. Just to see how he worked and see him operate, from putting thought n theory into action and witness another classic ready to add to his already massive catalogue. The kicks, the snare, the integallatic pads and synths, he was a true genius and master. An every day inspiration to me whilst doing what i'm doing not only through music but life itself, even in his worst days he still continued to do what he loved. Bless and prayers out to his friends and family.Also a shout to the organisers of the J Dilla tribute party that was live.
