2007 - RON_E featured on the new Hardwax Hip Hop/R&B mix cd entitled "Soul Control". His featured track is called "Tell ur friends" and is a soulful collaboration produced by MR ZUX. ....excerpt taken from Central Station review.... "The album itself comprises two hour long mixes. In keeping with his mantra, the Soul Controller keeps things soulful and funky using a range of hip-hop, 2-step, Latin, R&B and pop tracks. Put either CD in your player and you'll be immediately tapping along to the deep vibes. Both CDs are peppered with tracks from quality groups and artists such as Coolio, Ron-E, Scribe and the YingYangTwins. There's also the odd surprise such as the Latin segway midway through the second CD with J. Castell's "Usaywesay" and Oz Locos' "Muevansen""....

The RON_E BIO

Currently busy working on his official debut, Ron_E has been a busy artist who has been working hard behind the scenes for a number of years now. Originally growing up in the beautiful beach city of Newcastle the Ron_e sound is definitely a refined and distinct experience.

Working along side a number of artists and people such as Mr Zux, UK soul master Steve Spacek, Dave Shul from blues and roots band "Spearhead”, Adelaide artist Damien Fernandez, and International music artist Afro Moses just to name a few.
Outside his solo project though Ron_E has kept busy collaborating, writing and/ or lending his voice to a number of other artists. They Include Adelaide Reggaeton artist J Castell (Your Body - U say we say- Club Night), Syd Hip hop group Overproof (Sunshine) KC Baker aka KCB, (songs on Floorfillaz series), Sonny Fodera and Afro Moses (Do me wrong).
As well as dropping his own release 2008 sees Ron_e appear as a writer on ABC artist "Gian"s Debut Album OUT NOW (all your fault), as well as lending his voice to other artists upcoming releases including Mr Zux, Roy-al, Fame, Spit Syndicate and 13th son.
