Oscar Roberts pka OFOESHO was born March 13, 1978 in Richmond, Virginia, where Oscar spent his early childhood until his parents moved out west to California in the early 80’s. The family settled in the city of Los Angeles where he would spend most of his youth. His mother started her own clothing business while his father pursued his dream of acting and singing… it was evident that Oscar would follow in his footsteps. His mother enrolled him in acting class as well as honing his singing abilities… to channel the insurmountable energy coming from this young talent. It was clear to his family and friends that “O” was headed for show business. The name “Ofoesho” was bestowed upon him by his friends because of his dependability and reliability… he always shows up! With his mother’s keen business sense, Oscar a.k.a. “Ofoesho” was on his way. In his youth he sang for the church choir and composed poetry and music, which eventually led him to start writing his own music. With his own unique Rap style, dropping verse after verse… creating songs and music, it was without a doubt that soon he would be performing for his growing fan-base. “Ofoesho” is currently producing his album with a wide variety of established producers that he acquired while paying dues to this industry. He is doing all of this on top of his newly formed company Left Coast Entertainment, which he started after the death of his only son while incarcerated. “Ofoesho” not only has a tremendous amount of energy and talent but he holds true to his faith, though through many trails and tribulations, he keeps moving forward without regret, following his childhood dreams. You can hear his pain through his rapping, but where there is pain you can see he has a “joy for life”… his passion is a bit reckless at times, however his lyrics come from a deep-rooted place in his heart as well as in the back of his mind. So far in his young musical and acting career, “O” has worked with various artist, actors and producers such as Battlekat, Michelangelo Saullsberry, Martin Sheen, Pam Grier,Teddy Riley,Desmond"Big Dez" Mapp,Reedog.
