Traveling Camera was originally founded in 2005 to showcase pictures of anyone, anywhere and anything. Because a picture is worth a thousand words, you could almost create your own captions for whatever picture you saw. That all changed in 2006 when we decided to change it all from pictures to video. With new media coming out, it just made sense to go with the flow. Videos could tell a story that a picture could not.Originally we decided to allow people to be able to submit their own videos to us, but with the available technology that Google Video provided, it made our choice a lot easier to use their service as our main content provider. On another positive side, there were already hundred's of videos and growing on Google Video.The traveling camera site was designed to be simple and to allow one video to be showcased per week. Also we've added voting options for you to be able to vote or rate the weekly video. Most of the video content you will find will here are humorous and uplifting, but on occasion we will rotate through different genres because we're also not biased on the type of content that is shown.If you are the producer of a video, why not upload it onto Google Video. If we find your video and like it, we may just use it! Our video judges are always hard at work looking for the best and no so greatest videos out there. The videos can be of just about anything, if it's a home video or just one you found on your own, we would love to hear about it as long as it is worth the while.
