I like to do lots of things. The classics, such as go to the movies, hang with friends, listen to music. Things like that, of course. But there's one thing that I just recently decided that I love to do. I really like to ask questions that stump people. You see, when you ocme up with something that you really don't understand, you ask someone, right? And almost always they are going to try to come up with an answer. They may clearly not know the answer, but 9 times out of 10 they'll make up something. And the best part is that you know they are bullshitting, and they know they are bullshitting, and they know that you know that they are bullshitting, but they still try to answer. Then you're left with just a bunch of silly theories. It's great. I'll give you one.....How does a seatbelt work? Someone said it was connected to the brake, another said it worked because of a pendulum, and someone else claimed that it works the same way a belt does. They are all probably wrong, I have no idea, but it was funny to force someone to think about something silly for a second.
I'd like to meet who ever invented zippers. What a god damn great idea. Also, some one I can share my ridiculous life with. Yeah, that would be nice.
Music = my soul's band-aid. I like it all. Stuff I'm listening to now...arctic monkeys, dashboard confessional, death cab for cutie, damien rice, regina spector, brandi carlisle, kaki king, pixies, sublime, weezer, red hot chilipeppers, tool, NIN, old stuff...ella, sinatra, jimi, led zepplin, pink floyd. I have a dream to start an all girls GNR cover band. General concensus amongst my friends states that I shall play the role of Slash. haha. I really just want to do a rock star kick on stage to start of a set. i attempt to play the guitar and piano, i've dabbled with a bass guitar, and i'm a whiz on the trumpet and get this....trombone. ha.
Josie and the Pussycats, Bring It On (even though i hate to admit it) and Wet Hot American Summer. The American movie system is fucked up. I'll get really angry discussing it. There are very few things that come out of Hollywood these days that are worth any type of mention. Independent films are the way to go. The actual independent films, where the director has a crew of 5 and maxes out 6 credit cards to fund the thing. Those are the good movies. Or at least they usually tell the best stories in the most interesting, creative ways. I also like INdian films. Mostly because they are really colorful and melodramatic.
Television can suck a big fat nut, punk. I don't even watch it. The only good channels are discovery, science, and sometimes the history channel. But they cost too much. It's just a huge rip-off. TV is for losers, or the ill.
This 400 year old guy with a walker that blew past me through a busy intersection without looking both ways and yelled "Life's too short, ladies! You gotta take chances!"
