There’s a brandnew record coming out in June, 2009 - Börn & Mika Vember “Fame & Success”.
We recorded this collection of very simple songs during one week in February 09. Having been involved in the production of several albums for other artists, that took ages – some are not even released yet – I felt the urge to do something simple and quick. Mika and I met on 6 evenings, played, sang, drank & had fun. I even did the mixing myself. We added the opening track in April. Katharina Kessler did some nice photography and Oskar Kubinecz – as always – the beautiful artwork for the sleeve. All this felt – and still feels so good, and it reminded me of what it actually means to play and sing. It would be nice to meet you at one of our shows.
By the way, my novel "Zeit Der Idioten" is going to be published through the very nice Milena Verlag, Wien in September 2009. Hurra!
