Sounds Like:I guess TILES sounds like:Queensryche,
Rush, Dream Theater, Fates Warning,
80's Yes and Kansas. (Thank you Matthew)The songs here on my site are from other
places than TILES though."Livin' Large at the Clam Bake"
Was recorded at a friends little basement studio.
I did this Bass solo and an actual song on the same day.
The solo was something I had written 2 weeks
before."Stop Gap" Appears on the TILES cd "Window Dressing"
I had had this song around for years but, we did not have a place for it on earlier releases. For "Window Dressing" Pat (Drums) and I started to mess with it and what you hear is what we did. On the CD we added Trumpet, keys and guitar. A special guitar solo was performed by none other than Aaron Head. So, anyway this is a stripped down version of what is on "Window Dressing." For folks that don't know there are no overdubs on the Bass.
It is a two-handed technique. The bass (or guitar) is played kind of like a piano.
