About Me

CURRENT MOON lunar phase

Myspace Layouts by Pimp-My-Profile.com

I am Laura Beth Sunshine and I was born in the Sun sign of Gemini, the Moon of Scorpio, in the year of the Boar. Like the morning sun I come, and like the wind I go. I have a son named Phoenix Alexander who is a Virgo born on September 3, 2005 and just the most happy baby you could meet. Phoenix is my blue sky and my sunny day! He is now walking, talking, and into everything. He surprises me at every turn!I am a Ramblin Rose, and a Sunshine Daydream, that makes a Ripple in still water. I love the Mountains and I love to travel. I am a Senior at West Ga and an English Major. I will get my Doctorate eventually. My favorite poems are,"Frog Autumn" by Sylvia Plath and "Ode to a Nightinggale", by John Keats, and The Love song of J. Alfred Prufrock by T.S. ELiot, "London" by William Blake and "Christabel" by Samuel Taylor Coleridge. Favorite songs are "The Wind" by Cat Sevens, "Pleasure and Pain" by Ben Harper, "The Ocean" by Zeppelin, "Mercy" by Widespread Panic and just about everything by the Grateful Dead. I grew up in Illinois, and moved to Ga when I was still young. I've tried to get out a few times but up until the present something keeps bringing me back to Paulding County. My dogs name is foxy, and she is one great road dog! The only thing is that since she is a Dingo, she has a wild and free nature about her. Just like everyone else I know her biggest strengths are her biggest weaknesses. I write just about everyday whether it's poetry or just something that pops into my head.I keep journals regularly. I'm really close to my family these days and have more good and true friends than anyone deserves in a lifetime. I guess I'm blessed in that area. I believe in holistic healing of body, mind, and spirit, and I am a student of the Earth. Who knows where life will take me next...

My Interests

Laughing and smiling would have to be my favorite thing to do! The most important and and wonderful part of my life is my son Phoenix Alexander. You've got to see his smile! I really love to write and read literature. My Favorite poets are Sylvia Plath, Robert Hunter, Bob Dylan, John Keats, and Samuel Taylor Coleridge. Music is my second passion, with bands like Led Zeppelin, The Grateful Dead, Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals, and Widespread Panic among so many others I manage to get through my days with a smile on my face. I love the outdoors. Being in the woods feels like my second home. It just feels Free. I've spent a lot of my time there. I go to school at West GA and I am an English major, I will write.
