What's up myspacers?? Well where do I begin? I am originally from the mountains of North Georgia, now I am a full time resident of the Florida Keys with my girlfreind of ten years who I uprooted from the mountains also (Kudos for her right). As the old saying goes though you can take the man out of the mountains but not the mountains out of the man!!!! Driving on this flat land is boring but I came down here to look for some tail and high rollers(bonefish and permit tails and rolling tarpon)dirty mind I know what you were thinking. It is where giant fish swim in shallow gin clear water so here I am. I am a backcountry guide who takes people to fish for the greatest gamefish in the world, megalops atlanticus or also known as the atlantic tarpon. I also take people fishing for bonefish, permit, barracudas, shark, and pretty much anything else that will take a fly and pull massive amounts of drag. I travel the world in my off time seeking out big fish on fly. I also am a certified casting instructor through the Federation of Fly Fishers and teach fly fishing schools in the Bahamas (bonefish) and next year I will be teaching in Central America (permit). Well guys it has been fun but I must go put the point to more giant tarpon!! Tight lines!! Oh by the way check out my website www.captainjoeldickey.com!! Gotta throw that one in there!!
