Okay, so, I'm supposed to find everyone I know here, right? Is that the trick?
I'm just hanging out in Connecticut, where I moved from New Orleans over a year ago. I'm settling into the new-old house my husband and I just bought, and waiting, half filled with anticipation and half filled with terror, to meet my firstborn daughter in July. When I'm not browsing baby items online or getting my organs kicked, I like to knit and read and swing dance (don't get to do the dancing so much these days, however). I also spend a fair amount of energy railing against winter. Whose lame idea WAS that, anyway?
Here in Connecticut, we have blizzards instead of hurricanes. I like the kind with Oreos.
