About Me

Hello.
There is no music, as most of you realise. I do have most of my instruments now but, truth be told, most of my creative energy is expended on design and photography-related activities these days. That seems to be where it’s at for me at the mo, probably because 1) I’m better at them; 2) my design work earns me a living and 3) they’re more fun to do right now (particularly photography, at least when I don’t snap the film when trying to wind it at the end). It would be nice to record a little collection of tunes before I get to the point where I don’t care any more. And bring the joy of the harmonium into a few more people’s lives. But it is a love-hate relationship of sorts.
My early philosophy was ’the more synths, the better’ (literally). This was fine, until the point at which I heard Big Star’s first LP and decided that I needed some guitars. Two years later, we’re still working on that.In the absence of any of my own material, if you have a desire to listen to something new and good, go check out my mate James’ profile, he’s a very talented young man - his output last year was stellar and I expect more of the same in 2008. You’ll find him in my top friends list.
If you want to get in touch, send me a message or leave me a comment. And if you want to see my ramshackle adventures with an SLR camera, head over to www.flickr.com/photos/rockajeglo.
Cheers.

Auto-tune

Is cheating. I've had enough of listening to records where technology has made it possible for any bum notes to be removed and altered. It's ridiculous. We're getting to the point now w...

The rise, fall and subsequent demolition of Beach-Hut

Right then. I think most people who wanted to hear my old demos have heard them now, so they've been taken off. If not then tough, they've been up there for well over half a year. I'd like to thank ev...

Nice pair!

Ha, you looked. And you were taken in by it, too. What a predictable and debased lot you all are...Jokes aside, I thought I would add two tracks in the absence of any new material. They're old (2002),...

Beach-Hut

After spending weeks trying to find it, I've finally stumbled across copy of 'Beach-Hut'. Shouldn't be too long before you see it on here in its original, unadulterated form. A bit of fun for those wh...
