My name's Mike, although I tend to be called Pole more and more, even my family call me it now which is all thanks to Ben Brightwell in year 10; I comforted a mate who was being laid into by her girl mates, he called me the Caring Pole and it went from there. All the genitalia-related Pole jokes end there.
I live in a little village called Crawley Down, and to be honest I wouldn't rather be anywhere else; near/far away enough from Crawley and East Grinstead, halfway between London and Brighton, next to Gatwick, all pretty ideal for an 18 year old wouldn't you say?
I am a friendly bloke, enjoy meeting new people and finding more out about the ones I already know, and as a result I seem to know quite a lot of people. My closest mates are all amazing, and I don't use that word lightly, but they really are. A certain few have stuck by me through thick and thin in the last few year as I've had a few things to complain about, they should know who they are and also that I really am eternally grateful to them.
I class myself as a musician, although I'm not quite where I want to be with it at the moment, but give it time, one day you will buy an album of mine. I am also really interested in photography, I guess it's in my blood as my Grandad was a keen photographer, so for my 18th I received a Canon EOS 400D which is a beautiful camera, and I have got some brilliant shots with it such as this page's background. I love creativity, it is one of the things I adore most about other people and I think will be a big part of my life.
Oh and I can't dance.
