Velocity Dogs

Possibly Velocity Forever...

About Me

Velocity Dogs were a small band from Aberdeen who liked Star Wars, Ice Beer and Kissing Girls. They worked their asses off and barely graduated high School. Beyond being a band they were brothers and best friends. Their funloving attittude and perpetual good looks complimented their ever entertaining stage shows. Ethan Ford and Dan Ross started the band one rainy afternoon after school when they couldn't figure out any other way to get chicks and be cool(er) guys. After a rough start and an adjustment of players, Chris"the Chief" Eddy and Phil McGraw became the permanent members that would eventually be the final line up when the band had their final show at the River Haven Tavern in Hoquiam one rainy March night in 1997. The Dogs also welcomed Bret Pinnick into the fold for a spell as bassist until spring 1996 when the Chief came back to the pack after a short, but very prominent stint with Fuzz another local band. After the disband of Velocity Dogs, Dan Ross moved to Seattle to start the Wutnauts with Andrew Kent of the Rhino Humpers, but as fate would have it Dan ended up having a family, abandoning music and performing, and after a divorce and two daughters, still lives in Seattle where he is finishing his degree, acting, and bartending. Ethan Ford stayed in Aberdeen for a while where he also started a family. After completing school he moved to Olympia where he is a very successful Massage Therapist and Phlebotomist. Ethan is still as talented a songwriter as ever and continues to play his own material that has been used in Independent Films and is working on his first solo album to be released soon. Chris "the Chief" Eddy stayed in Aberdeen for a year and a half before enlisting in the Navy and going on a world tour of his own! The Chief now lives in Okinawa Japan with his beautiful wife Ami and their little Chief Brian, who is without a doubt his Father's Son. Phil McGraw left Aberdeen for technical college and is now working construction throughout Puget Sound. When he isn't building shit, he's still beating the skins like they were made out of old people and babies. Seriously, Phil is doing great and living the good life in Des Moines with a harum of Byotches...at least twelve Byotches... Probably more than that... I don't even bother to count anymore. I just guess, cause that's like the low ball figure. Twelve. Fuck now I'm embarassed to low ball Phil! It's at least Seventeen. For God's sake he's like 27 and still a chick MAGNET!!! Word.
