I am here for Dating, Serious Relationships, Friends and Networking

About Me

Normal, unassuming guy. I have a big heart and love to be around people, lots of people. I have a mentoring side to me so I tend to date guys younger than myself but I make friends easily with anyone -- straight or gay. I am the guy at parties that makes people laugh. I don't want to write anymore for fear of sounding too stuck up. Oh yes, I LOVE sports. And I love making new friends. Not afraid to talk to anyone or start up a conversation. Oh and I have the greatest job in the world as associate athletic communications director at Carolina. Go Tar Heels. Love the Carolina Blue. And my passion for the theatre knows very few bounds as well. Call me Renaissance Man with Big Calves.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

For dating, I like guys younger than myself--I am 52--and that can be anybody who has finished college and who likes dating someone is more like a mentoring big brother. A cute face will make me weak in the knees. Seeking someone educated and independent minded. The people I get along with best are smart and have well rounded interests -- music, theatre, sports, politics. I get along with all types from nine to 99. I have a particular affinity for my straight girlfriends, a shout out to them. And all the athletes I've known at Carolina over the past 30 years have rocked my world as well and can never thank them enough for the support they have shown and the thrills they've provided.

The Home Run Chase is Over

Barry Bonds holds the record even if there is a BIG STAR next to his name in the books. I don't love the guy but I can't bring myself to hate him. Meanwhile, that buffoon, Bud Selig, looks like a pe...

Kudos to Barry Bonds

Congrats to Barry Bonds on No. 755 Saturday night. At least he handled it with class. Bud Selig is an embarrassment to the sport of baseball. I hope Mark Cuban buys the Cubs and then proceeds to dr...

The Second Place Cubs

Aargh. 1-2 against the Mets over the weekend and the Brewers are back in first. And with Milwaukee having only five of its last 19 series against teams with winning records. Yikes. But I do believe...

The First Place Cubs

Okay it is August 3 and we got blasted today by the Phillies but I must admit seeing the Chicago Cubs, my beloved Chicago Cubs, in first place this late in the season is almost too good to be true. G...

Matt Damon

Is it my imagination or does Matt Damon just get cuter by the day? I watched Good Will Hunting the other day and then I recently watched Ocean's 11 again and he just keeps getting finer.
