Born in Brooklyn, NY, on December 27th, 1982 and raised by a single mother. “Blezz Da Messiah†grew up in the ghetto streets of Flatbush Avenue and Crown Heights. Before Hip-Hop, his first love was basketball, which is one of the main reasons why he approaches the rap game with such a competitive state of mind. “Blezz Da Messiah†has been well recognized for his talents and endless drive and determination to being one of the best. Having persevered through various obstacles such as the loss of close friends and dropping out of college, he has been able to maintain his work ethic, credibility and authenticity while trying to achieve success. Now with a strong foundation, “Blezz Da Messiah†utilizes his natural gift from God (as he describes) to speak directly from his heart and expose the heart felt truth to his audience, by making them feel his pain and joys in his own unique way.
Thanks to musical influences such as Tupac, Jay-Z, Nas, Dmx, and The Notorious B.I.G, “Blezz Da Messiah†started writing songs at the tender age of 13, but didn’t start taking his talent to rhyme seriously until the age of 18, after realizing his full potential. Now at the age of 24 and C.E.O of his own independent label Str8 Facez Entertainment, “Blezz Da Messiah†has opted to channel his passions about his life, music and business into creating an authentic brand that will be at the forefront of hip-hop’s evolution into a global lifestyle.
