No guts, no glory. THE AUTUMN’S REGRET risked a lot and won it all. With their debut „Manhattan Is Not Big Enough For Both Of Us“ the young band proved their skills and created a piece of music between beauty and the black. But this might be just the first part of the uncompromising band of Germany’s Ruhr-Area. In October 2005 the band started and practiced for the first time, after that the band gathered first live experiences. Beginning of 2006: the local music scene took notice of the promising band for the first time ever; also the Essen-based Indie Label Bombback Records were interested in signing THE AUTUMN’S REGRET. After carrousel of change had finally stopped the band started to concentrate on essential things: the music. So in July 2007 the first EP „Manhattan Is Not Big Enough For Both Of Us“ was recorded and finally released on Bombback Records 25.08.2006. Beside perfect criticisms of the international music scene the band proved their energy on stage with nearly 30 shows in the first year of playing live. So the young group supported bands like SCARS OF TOMORROW, ON THE LAST DAY, THE MAPLE ROOM, PENKNIFELOVELIFE or ESTATE. These are precious experiences which will guide them on their way to the top. After establishing reputation the band proved their energy on shows national wide with a self-booked tour schedule. THE AUTUMN’S REGRET ended a throughout successful year and teamed up in July 2007 with their producer and manager Dominic Paraskevopoulos to pre-produce and record “At Least We Are Human”. After a hard recording process the band finished their record and gained plenty of new conceptions. The final output is a composition of punishing and dynamic elements wrapped up with lots of melodic aspects, as well. The trick of the band is to use various influences to sound matchless. To abandon all genre-typical clichés is only one thing which makes THE AUTUMN’S REGRET very hopeful. The band works together with their partner in crime Level 3 Entertainment when it comes to management and booking, as well. The powerful recording was underlined by the visual concept of BastiBasti-Design, so it’s not false to say that THE AUTUMN’S REGRET is one of the most talented and ambitions bands in Europe. “At Least We Are Human” launches 09.15.2007 on Bombback Records, so keep an eye on it.
