The Chief is Chris Brown. A founding member of The Twiggs, who, alongside
Jamie Bell and Marcer Campbell (Gram Solo) played the length and breadthof the country,toured with Echo and the Bunnymen, garnered great praise and culminated in the album "Twenty Thousand Leaves Under The Tree" on Solipsist records. After management hassles and distribution frustrations
The Twiggs finally snapped.
Since then the Chief has been with Jude Connelly's O Tunes, setting Carlisle ablaze with these and Dinga's 'The Ravengers' ('Good Time Girls and Naughty Boys' on Detour records) supporting the likes of
The Lightning Seeds....Shed Seven.....SolarFlares (ex-members of The Prisoners and Billy Childish cohorts) and others.
Just trying to 'keep going'....the Chief invites you to listen to some lo-fi stuff and comment back on what you hear.
