Not sure what to say about me... I'm a southern girl. I'm a mixture of South Carolina & Mississippi. So I have a major southern accent:) Everywhere I go people ask me where am I from...Ummmm? :) I'm married, I have 3 grown sons (sometimes I think back... I think I was born with a husband & kids :) But its all good :) I always try to create memories for the people around me. Mostly by cooking for everyone and having cookouts. Making Holidays a special time for family & friends to gather. I feel that every day of your life you're creating a memory for someone around you. Good or bad, its a memory. So let it be a great memory. I learned that to get a change in your life you have to change something or it will always stay the same life. The choices we make today will ultimately determine our tomorrow. We can either choose to change or choose to remain, but either way, we have to make a choice. I hated to read growing up but in my twenties I realized that reading could take me places. And at that time in my life my mind needed to travel to other places, to get away. So even now I try to read alittle something everyday. Its always a adventure or something learned when reading. I honestly feel as if books saved me during a deep dark time of my life and brought me back to life. So, for many years I've been a avid reader. I love living out in the country and being surrounded by nature. I have a Special love for the North Carolina mountains. I get my second wind when I go to the North Carolina mountains. Those mountains seem to heal me each time I go there, they are good for my heart. The picture that covers my page I took in North Carolina. I collect handmade Indian items from North Carolina. I also collect face jugs from North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia. I always love being around water. Just looking at water and hearing it seems to put me at peace. I have a special love for things with "Wings". *Dragonflies*, Butterflies, Birds(hawks), Lightning Bugs, Hummingbirds, anything with wings(Fairies). I've learned that Life is an opportunity, so find your place, your purpose, your peace, joy, love & light and benefit from it. I enjoy just getting out and riding up the country roads with my window down. It seems to clear all the webs & dust out of my mind. I enjoy sitting on a porch and feeling a good breeze or watching a spring rain. I love being around family, friends and having a good time laughing and spending time with each other. I'm a straight forward/speak my mind kind of person. I like to laugh, have fun and find the humor in everything :)........."Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day.
