About Me

I have been married to Alan for 28 years, together for 31, he is the love of my life, my best friend and my soulmate, and as you can see from my pictures we laugh all the time! I have 2 wonderful sons Tom (23) and Jack (22). Tom has just graduated from University gaining an Honors Degree in Computer Games Design, now the hard part! Getting a job! Jack works for the Merseyside Police Force! His title is Police Community Support and Traffic Officer! He is also a volunteer member of The British Red Cross. I am very proud of both of them. I love life! I love my family! I love my pets! What more can I say! I like to think people can come to me with problems as I am a good listener. I work at a local College as a Learning Support Assistant, I support students with 'special needs' in mainstream, I am in the Art Department for 2 days and the Business Dept for 3 days, I love art because before I had my boys I was a Graphic Designer working for a food company. I love college and I think all my students are 'the bees knees'! Quite a few of my students are on my friends list! I like to think people trust me and I make a good friend. I have a fantastic sense of humour and think that laughter makes the world go round! Laugh and the world laughs with you, cry and you cry alone!..

My Interests

My family are very important to me and I love that we share many interests together. We love to have a drink of a weekend and flick through the music channels! We love our caravan! We like to party and I love to throw a party!! I LOVE BRANDY!!!!!!! I read and love art.

I'd like to meet:

I would loved to have met Bing Crosby and Princess Diana, but one other person I would love to meet is John Edward, I love ' Crossing Over ' and I have read his books, he does not have to convince me!

Music:

I love many different kinds of music from the past and now. I loved the 70's and 80's and all that went with it. I love Craig David, Daniel Bedingfield, Take That, Will Young etc. At the moment I am really into The Zutons, The Script and Scouting For Girls. I also love some of the bands my sons have introduced me to, The Redhot Chilli Peppers, Blink 182, Funeral for a Friend and many more. David Bowie has always been my hero, touched his hand when I was 15 never washed it for a while- How sad am I !!!!

Movies:

I love so many films, amongst my faves are :- Dirty Dancing, Sleepless in Seattle, Coyote Ugly. I love any film with Bing Crosby in especially White Christmas! Home Alone 2, I must have seen 100 times!! Animated films I love, Shrek 1 & 2, Shark Tale, Finding Nemo and Wallace and Gromit! I love movies all 'chick flicks' and comedies. I have seen Mama Mia twice and cant wait for it to come out on DVD!

I love Americas Next Top Model and our own version Britains Next Top Model! I also love Make Me a Supermodel and anything with Gok Wan.

Books:

Love true stories and anything to do with Liverpool and Merseyside. Fave fiction authors Maureen Lee, Joan Jonker, Lynne Andrews. Enjoy a juicy autobiography. I remember the first book I ever read 'Her Benny' it made me cry! I am going to see the stage version in November so I have just read it again, it still made me cry!

Heroes:

I have many heroes and people I admire, Bing Crosby being one of them. I loved Princess Diana and all she stood for! The most important heroes I have are my husband and two sons! My heroes from present day are ;- all the firemen who gave their lives on 9/11 at The World Trade Centre and all the people involved in the rescue and lives they saved! God Bless those who perished! Also all the young men and women in the armed forces in Britain and America, we are proud of you!I have one more hero I must mention Sam! He was one of my students last year and I am so proud of him. In my opinion he has had mountains to climb and it wasnt easy for him but he did it. He still continues to work hard and I'm sure he will do really well in whatever he chooses to do. He makes smile and laugh every time I see him. His Mum must be so proud of him. Thanks Sam for making it a pleasure to come into work!
